Our Story

Kingdom Community Church is reimagining faith community in Indianapolis. We believe the church isn't meant to extract people from their neighborhoods but to incarnate Christ's presence within them — creating vibrant, disciple-making communities that demonstrate God's love in tangible ways.
This isn't church as usual. It's a
daring return to the Jesus way—where theology gets lived out on front porches, worship overflows beyond Sunday walls, and discipleship happens around real tables with real people.
We create space for deep, theological teaching that reveals
the Trinity's heart for humanity through Jesus, who is perfect theology. Our worship services breathe with room for genuine Holy Spirit encounters. And at our core, we're committed to being a safe place where questions are welcomed, spiritual formation is prioritized, and the Father's love empowers each person to discover who they truly are—beloved children of God with a vital role to play in His Kingdom.

Our Why

Our Mission

To disciple people into experiencing God's love, engaging in community, and embodying the kingdom.

Our Core Values

  • Discipleship

We believe that we will never produce mature followers of Jesus apart from Christ-centered discipleship. This is the way Jesus taught us and therefore, we embrace not only his message, but method as well. We also believe that discipleship should always be trans generational, seeking to multiply itself.

  • Spiritual Formation

We want to be formed into the image of Christ through the inner-working power of Holy Spirit. Therefore, we seek to be a church that makes space available for those encounters to happen while also encouraging the practice of spiritual disciplines.

  • Diversity

We seek to be a diverse community, not for diversity sake, but for Jesus’ sake. There is no other way to see the kingdom of God other than a diverse family. All God’s children belong at the table.

  • Unity

but not uniformity - this will only work if we become a place where self-indulgence is let go and self-denial is taken up.

  • Theology

We believe that Jesus is perfect theology. Therefore, Jesus is the top of our stool and we become balanced by realizing that to arrive to truth we must have three legs to the stool - the scriptures, what the church has traditionally taught, what Holy Spirit is saying now.

  • Hospitality

Jesus, throughout the gospel of Luke, was either on his way to a meal, at a meal, or leaving a meal. Much of our witness is best lived around the dinner table, inviting strangers to become friends. As Rosaria Butterfield said, “…the gospel comes with a house key.”

  • Faithfulness

Our lives are not evaluated on the world’s definition of success, but on God’s definition of faithfulness. We desire to have a long obedience in the same direction.

Our Leadership

Our Beliefs

At Kingdom Community Church, we are rooted in the historic Christian faith, committed to loving the Trinity, loving people, and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom! Our trinitarian beliefs are grounded in Scripture and affirmed by the ancient creeds of the Church. Chief among these is the Nicene Creed, which we confess as a faithful summary of the core doctrines of Christianity shared with Christians around the world and throughout history.

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, begotten from the Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made human. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried. The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will never end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life. He proceeds from the Father, and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified. He spoke through the prophets.

We believe in one holy universal and apostolic church. We affirm one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and to life in the world to come. Amen.
